Consulting and Project Management

Engineering
Thomas Technologies' network engineers and sales specialists, along with the customer, meet to discuss the network design keeping the customers specific requirements in mind. During the planning phase of the project Thomas Technologies' personnel will consider all design options and develop an installation plan that will consider all of its customers requirements including the existing infrastructure and/or equipment. Once the plan is completed our engineers will sit with you, the customer, and discuss the reasoning behind their recommendations and point out each area of attack.
During the installation process the customer will be updated regularly, via phone or e-mail, on the progress of the project. A follow-up meeting, within 60 days of completion will be scheduled to determine any shortcomings as well as any necessary additions.
Our network engineers will also suggest a maintenance agreement with Thomas Technologies to handle the technical support, which 9 times out of 10, will occur due to the uncertainty of the user.

Wi-Fi
Wireless Fidelity commonly known as "Wi-Fi" is emerging as a dominant standard for the Local Area Networks, worldwide. (WLAN) With the inception of the 802.11 standard Wi-Fi has come to its next generation in the new 802.11n. The two biggest futures of 802.11n are its ability to support bit rates in excess of 100Mb/s and its ability to cover more area with RF signal. The short comings of this new standard is its insatiable demand for power, and its half-duplex medium. However, with its new mulit-antenna technology called MIMO customers are pushing forward in its implementation.
